Ashton Kutcher met the parents.
Over the weekend, the Steve Jobs impersonator was spotted in London hanging out with the parents of his Jewish girlfriend, “Oz” star Mila Kunis.
The Hollywood power couple have been dating for about a year now, and this was Kutcher’s first time meeting the Kunis family, the Daily Mail reports.
Kunis’s parents, Mark and Elvira, were visiting their daughter in London, where she lives while filming her new movie, “Jupiter Ascending.” Things with the parents must have gone well because paparazzi snapped photos of Kutcher and Kunis happily holding hands as they went for a stroll around Hampstead on Sunday, with Kunis’s parents following closely behind.
This is somewhat of a big step for Kutcher and Kunis — only two months ago, Kutcher told Elle that he is extremely private about his relationship with Kunis and will do all that he can to keep it that way. Yet weeks later, he’s strolling around town, getting cozy with the family.
Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis will be jetting off to the Holy Land next week, the Times Of Israel reported.
This isn’t Kutcher’s first trip. The “Two And A Half Men” star’s most recent Israel sighting was with ex-wife and fellow Kabbalah enthusiast Demi Moore in 2010.
This time however, Kutcher will be promoting high tech initiatives rather than tying a red string around his girlfriend’s wrist. According to Haaretz, Rabbi Eyal Reiss, leader of a Kabbalah center in Safed (headquarters of Jewish mysticism) said he was unaware of the couple’s upcoming visit.
Apparently, Mila isn’t a big fan.
What is it with Mila Kunis and loving propositions from fans?
Apparently Mila wasn’t the only one charmed by BBC Radio 1 reporter, Chris Stark, whose debut interview garnered over 10.5 million views on Youtube after the clip went viral. Kirsten Ariel Bledsoe, a senior at Hollins University in Virginia, was so inspired by Stark’s performance that she decided to ask the actress out herself — to her college cotillion.
In a video put together by Bledsoe and a friend, she says:
“I would really like to go out with a bang - or I would really like to go out with you. It’s my senior year in college; it’s my last school dance, so I figured I’d ask someone who’s never been to a school dance with a willing date before. So, just let me know, and I’ll bring the Blue Moon, and you just bring yourself,” Bledsoe told her celebrity crush in the video.
“I am gay. Any attention the video gets is a great way to highlight LGBTQ awareness in a rural Southern state,Bledsoe explained in an interview with The Daily Beast.
“I don’t know if Mila will say yes if the video reaches her. I do think that if she chooses to acknowledge it she will be kind and funny if not willing to go. The biggest conflict, I think, would be her busy schedule,”
So, why Mila?
“She is very grounded, and she is always herself. She is private, but she is real. She has a great sense of humor, and, you know, she isn’t bad looking either,” Bledsoe gushed.
Will she? Won’t she? We can’t wait to find out!
In the meantime, watch the video below (and take some notes — this is golden dating advice):
Hot on the trail of Golden Globes and Oscar season, it’s time for Hollywood’s finest to pray they still fit in their glam-wear, and head to the MTV Movie Awards, held on April 14. “Django Unchained” and “Ted” are the frontrunners, with seven nominations apiece.
“Ted” star Mila Kunis gathered two nominations, Best Female Performance and Best Kiss with co-star Mark Wahlberg.
The Internet bowed down to Mila yesterday after she played along with a nervous British reporter, in a scene taken straight out of “Notting Hill.” With repartee like that, maybe she can give JLaw a run for her money.
Check out the interview below:
On Valentine’s Day, love was in the air, and Mila Kunis and her main man Ashton Kutcher are here, there and everywhere. The couple was spotted at a Lakers game, and Kunis was all giggly and blushing about Kutcher during an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres’s show. But the most interesting tidbit is that the two are reportedly moving in together.
Ouch! And double ouch! Rumor has it that Drew Barrymore is undergoing painful laser surgery to remove her six tattoos as part of her moving closer to converting to Judaism (she’s apparently afraid she won’t be able to be buried in a Jewish cemetery if she stays inked). Has she never seen “Tattoo Jew” or heard that “tattoo” only sounds like “taboo”?

Tattoo aficionados continue to be intrigued by One Direction’s Harry Styles’ tattoo of his sister Gemma’s name in Hebrew on his left bicep. Either he or the tattoo artist had to have known Hebrew well enough to know an accent mark was needed over the gimel to denote the “j” sound at the beginning of the name.
Esquire may have named Mila Kunis the Sexiest Woman Alive, but the New York Daily News thinks she’s the shlumpiest. The paper has pointed out that the actress has been seen out and about almost exclusively in sweats and other sorts of casual wear.

Do not count Howard Stern among the fans of “Girls.” The shock jock had absolutely nothing nice to say about the show, or about Lena Dunham, whom he called a “fat…camera hog” who looks a bit like Jonah Hill.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt fans will get a kick out of this video of the actor’s first interview, from back when he was 14 years-old and on “Third Rock From The Sun.”

Sunday’s Emmys were a font of Shmooze celebrity news. First off, Mayim Bialik made Jewish moms and dads everywhere kvell at the awards ceremony on Sunday night when she gave a shout out during a red carpet interview to popular parenting blog, Kveller.com.
Did you notice that “Two Broke Girls” star Kat Dennings was slouching all evening at the Emmys? Apparently, it was to ensure that her ample bosom did not pop out of her über-low-cut stunning scarlet strapless gown. “No matter what I do they’re there, so…,” the actress joshed. Denning’s date, boyfriend Nick Zano’s main assignment was to prevent a wardrobe malfunction. “He has been alerted to the possibility of emergency and he’s always primed and ready,” she said.
Gideon Raff, the original creator of the Israeli series “Hatufim,” on which Showtime’s “Homeland” is based, was on hand to receive the Emmy for the best writing in a drama series. He accepted it along with Alex Ganza and Howard Gordon, the American show’s executive producers.
In her acceptance speech for the award for outstanding actress in a drama series, Claire Danes showed off her guttural pronunciation skills as she acknowledged her co-star Mandy Patinkin. “Challah!” she exclaimed after mentioning Patinkin’s name. Was this some inside joke? Or maybe a reference to the round variety of the traditional Jewish bread we eat on the High Holidays? Speculation abounded on Twitter.
In other news, the Jewish Council for Education and Research’s “Let My People Vote” video ad starring the Sarah Silverman has quickly topped the political charts.

Pixie-coiffed Anne Hathaway accompanied her fiancé Adam Shulman to Rosh Hashanah services on Monday. The paparazzi documented a lot of PDA on the couple’s way to IKAR at the Westside JCC in Los Angeles.
Hathaway and Shulman weren’t the only ones doing some New Year’s smooching. Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher were spotted locking lips in New York’s Central Park, also on Monday.
Another celeb couple caught by the paparazzi used the moment to do some guerilla marketing for charities close to their hearts. Upon leaving a restaurant at which they had lunched, Andrew Garfield and his girlfriend Emma Stone held up signs with a message drawing attention to organizations they feel deserve more attention than they do.
Amanda Bynes is out of jail on her own recognizance for her April DUI arrest, but she is in a lot of trouble for a number of serious driving offences. There’s a new young Jewish would-be singing star to cheer for. Thirteen-year-old Carly Rose Sonenclar of Westchester, N.Y. wowed the judges at her The X-Factor audition with her rendition of Nina Simone’s “Feeling Good” and advanced to the next round.
Here’s more evidence to fuel speculations that Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are a couple (if there is indeed anything left to speculate about): The two were spotted together at Wednesday’s L.A. Dodgers game.
Actually, “spotted” makes the whole thing sound more mysterious than it was: The pair made it into the game’s television broadcast, the relevant 23-second clip of which has been making the rounds on gossip sites this morning. In it, Kunis and Kutcher can be spotted chowing down on concession-stand pretzels and hotdogs. (The Shmooze will kindly assume those are kosher all-beef franks.)
Word has it that Kunis’s parents were also in attendance. Anyone looking for scandal won’t find it here: A ballgame with your folks is pretty much as wholesome as dating gets.
The video, for those who must see to believe:
When Mila Kunis was 12, she auditioned for a part in a movie about a Russian Jew. She didn’t get the part because they didn’t think she looked Russian or Jewish enough. “Mind you, I am both Russian and Jewish,” Kunis points out to James Franco in a recent interview for Interview magazine.
A chat between Jewish heartthrob James Franco and exotic beauty Mila Kunis: What could be more appealing? If a rabbi had been in that room, he probably would have married the two on the spot, in the name of Kiddush Hashem.
Buck up, all you JDate and OKCupid browsers: Actress Mila Kunis, star of the Seth MacFarlane movie “Ted” and all-around bombshell, tells Glamour that she would be right there with you if she weren’t quite so well known.
“I would go Internet dating instead of going out to bars,” Kunis told Glamour. “In two seconds I would. It makes so much more sense.” The 28-year-old beauty apparently has had a hand in helping her friends find potential suitors on OKCupid, where one even met her fiancée.
Operation Hackerazzi is a go. Scarlett Johansson could get more than $66,000 from Christopher Chaney, the creep who leaked nude photos of her last year. Chaney pleaded guilty in March to 9 counts, including identity theft, wiretapping, and unauthorized access and damage to a protected computer. U.S. attorneys requested the five-figure restitution for Johansson in a 19-page filing in federal court this week.
Mila Kunis, the other Shmooze favorite who was hacked last year, isn’t entitled to any money, the feds say, because there was “no evidence that nude photos of Mila Kunis were stolen or posted by defendant,” the New York Daily News reported. Chaney victims Christina Aguilera and Renee Olstead, on the other hand, could get as much as $7,500 and $76,767 respectively.
Men say they appreciate the inner beauty of a woman, but it’s the outer kind that carries the day on Maxim’s new list of the world’s 100 hottest women. It is also evident that for this Maxim’s audience, beauty goes hand in hand with youth. Some of these women are awfully young, but thankfully there’s no jailbait on the list.
For some oglers — we mean, readers — it may be difficult to spot the Jewesses among all the pouting lips, super-deep cleavages and come-hither looks. Not so for the Shmooze. We’ve identified more than a handful of Jewish women who made the cut. The hottest among them is Bar Refaeli, who comes in at the very top spot on the list. In fact, that must be the reason she appears close to naked in the Maxim photo shoot — when you’re that hot, you might just feel the need to shed your clothes.
Who needs the Avengers when we have real-life Jewish celebrities rushing to the rescue?
First came news that on April 27, actor Dustin Hoffman, 74, saved the life of a London jogger who had gone into cardiac arrest. Hoffman, who owns a home in Kensington, was walking in Hyde Park when he saw lawyer Sam Dempster, 27, staggering and frothing at the mouth before falling forward and hitting his face on the pavement. Hoffman reportedly turned Dempster onto his back, which opened his airway, and called 999 (equivalent to our 911) from his cell phone.
Poor Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher. The gossip media just won’t give the rumor that they are more than just good friends a rest. People just want to know what’s up with Kunis, who not long ago complained of having no dates, and Kutcher, who recently split from his wife Demi Moore, spending so much quality time together.
And speaking of people, the magazine with that name has suggested that it may not just be chance that has brought the two actors together now. Someone at People went digging through the publication’s archives and found an item from 2001 in which Kunis divulged that her on-screen kiss with Kutcher in an episode of “That 70s Show” in 1998 was actually her first kiss ever. Kunis was 15 at the time and very nervous. “I was like, ‘Oh, he’s so cute, it’s the Calvin Klein model!’” Kunis said in the 2001 interview. “Then I was like, ‘I have to kiss him?’ I was so nervous and uncomfortable. I had the biggest crush on him.”
Have you been starved for news about Jewish starlet Mila Kunis since her hammy evil-ballerina turn in 2010’s Black Swan?
People.com has come to the rescue with a report today that the Ukraine-born Kunis “enjoyed some serious alone time together” last week with Ashton Kutcher, the dashing “Two and a Half Men” star and former Mr. Demi Moore.
We know — you want details. People is happy to oblige. “The longtime friends and ‘That ’70s Show’ costars went on a three-day getaway to the coastal town of Carpinteria, Calif., just south of Santa Barbara. While away, Kutcher, 34, and Kunis, 28, dined on sushi, shopped for fruit and flowers and spent plenty of time in private,” People alleges.
Poor Mila Kunis, GQ’s Knockout of the Year, isn’t happy with her body and sits home alone in the evenings. Or so her cover story in April’s Harper’s Bazaar makes it seem.
Apparently, once Kunis gained back the 20 or so pounds that she lost in order to play a ballerina in “Black Swan,” the weight didn’t distribute itself the way she would’ve liked. “When I got down to 95 pounds, I was muscles, like a little brick house, but skin and bones. When I gained it back it went to completely different areas,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “I’d be happy if my ass got bigger. All the weight that left my chest went to my side hip, my stomach.”
Not that we needed proof, but here’s more evidence that Natalie Portman is on the Aleph-list.
Capping a year in which she named her firstborn for the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet, Portman surpassed Johnny Depp as the most searched celebrity on IMDB, the Internet Movie Database. The victory turns out to be rather impressive — Depp has been the highest-ranked search subject for six of the past seven years, meaning Portman must have been pretty hot stuff to pass him.
Keith Simanton, the site’s manager editor, speculated that Portman benefited from her ubiquity in 2011 — in addition to her Best Actress Oscar in February for “Black Swan,” she also released three high-profile movies (“Thor,” “Your Highness” and “No Strings Attached”) and celebrated the birth of her son.
With that leaked-photo scandal behind her, Mila Kunis can bask in the glory of being officially dubbed “Knockout of the Year” by GQ.
The GQ photo of Milena Markovna Kunis (a native of Chernovtsy, Ukraine — which was part of the USSR when she was born) features the actress posing seductively on a backyard swimming pool diving board in nothing but heavy eye makeup, a white tank top, orange bikini bottoms and a pair of high-heeled silver sandals.
Michael Idov, the writer who profiled Kunis for the magazine, found her in jeans and a sweatshirt, however, when he met up with her in Detroit, where she was filming “Oz: The Great and Powerful,” Sam Raimi’s massive prequel to “The Wizard of Oz.” The young woman, whom he describes as “sardonic, brassy, effortlessly real, the girl you can’t get out of your head,” plays a witch in the movie.
For people who keep track of these things — and naturally, The Shmooze is far too refined for such behavior — today is the second straight day that private photos of a major Jewish celebrity have been released by hackers.
Yesterday’s victim was Scarlett Johansson; today’s is Mila Kunis. Both appear to be victims of a hacking ring devoted to releasing personal photos of young female celebrities. Earlier casualties include “Gossip Girl” star Blake Lively, bad-movie staple Jessica Alba and former Disney princess Vanessa Hudgens. The FBI is apparently investigating the Johansson hacking.
Other than Kunis and Johansson’s respective backgrounds — the latter’s mom is Jewish, so we’ll claim her — there’s nothing “Jewish” about this scandal. And of course the family-friendly, high-minded Shmooze would never post — or even glimpse at — the leaked photos, which in Kunis’s case are reportedly far tamer than her “Black Swan” scenes with that other Jewish goddess, Natalie Portman.
We merely bring these facts to your attention during our brief breaks from studying the Talmud and reading Joyce and Keats.
